In 2025 I've visited the Guardia family at their farm and was deeply impressed by their practices and size of the farm. What makes HACIENDA SONORA stand out isn’t just the coffee. The farm is deeply committed to sustainability and social responsibility, offering fair wages and actively supporting the local economy. This year’s lot once again features the Villa Sarchi variety — a natural mutation of the Bourbon coffee plant, originally discovered in the village of Sarchi, Costa Rica.
