Origin story Originally called ‘O Blend’, our desire to meet the human faces behind the beans led us to Isabel Uriate Latorre, coffee inspector, buyer, and ambassador of the Penachi Fairtrade Cooperative in North Peru. Isabel, champion of the Peru Cafe Femenino Project, initiated huge changes to gender ethos, and elevated the self-esteem of women coffee growers. She has been the inspiration for us to shift this blend to 100% Fairtrade and name it in her honour. This Fairtrade Organic Certified Blend, carries exceptional coffees from 6 origins, including, Ethiopia, Peru, Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras and New Guinea.
