The Kanya washing station has a rich history, originally established as a mini washing station in 2014 by local resident Kanyamibwa Edmond. After years of honing his craft and significantly increasing the station's capacity to handle higher volumes of high-quality cherries, Edmond sold Kanya to the Rwanda Trading Company (RTC) in 2017. Edmond continues to run the operations at his second washing station, built solely from the profits and success of the Kanya washing station. This lot features the classic Red Bourbon variety, precisely processed using a Penagos pulping machine and dry fermentation. The beans are then dried on raised beds for 15 to 22 days. This careful attention to detail results in a vibrant cup profile, boasting the best of Rwandan agriculture for you to enjoy.
