Blending coffees from South America and Southeast Asia, our darkest roast features a heavy body and smooth acidity. Dark chocolate is prominent throughout, marked by cola-like sweetness and lingering finish of caramelized sugar. The Signature Story We offer only one really dark-roasted coffee and we wanted to do it right: bittersweet chocolate, smoke, and utterly powerful in the cup. Excellent with milk or an Irish whiskey. We were inspired to create this blend after seeing the mighty "Ad Astra" statue (depicted on the coffee label) placed atop the State Capitol building in Topeka.
