Two friends started roasting in a small Derbyshire industrial unit in 2005, before specialty coffee was a phrase they knew. Two moves later they roast on Giesen machines at West Lodge Farm on the Courteenhall estate in Northamptonshire. Sourcing includes a women's cooperative in Mexico and smallholder lots from Ethiopia.
