Kaffeemacher was founded by Felix Hohlmann, a German barista champion, and has grown into an early Swiss specialty-coffee business with a café, roastery, and training academy in Basel plus a distribution hub in Dinslaken, Germany. Since 2017 it has co-owned Finca Santa Rita in Nicaragua and runs sourcing projects with producers in Mexico and Brazil.
