Mustefa Abakeno is a smallholder with 18 hectares of land near Agaro in the Jimma Zone of Western Ethiopia. His farm is located at 2040 metres above sea level, and is planted with coffee varieties from the Jimma research centre. The small wet mill he set up, which he called Beshasha is used to process his coffee, which is then dried on African (raised) beds near his house.This washed coffee is creamy, round and balanced, with floral notes, and a hint of lime and Assam tea.
