Founded in 2009 by Fleur Studd and Jason Scheltus, Market Lane began as a small shop at Prahran Market with a clear mission: to source, roast and serve exceptional coffee with care. The roastery sits in Brunswick East, supplying a tight group of cafés across inner Melbourne. Market Lane is known for its restrained, balanced roasting style and long-term direct trade relationships with producers in Colombia, Honduras, Ethiopia and Kenya. Their seasonal house blend and Honduran Las Brisas micro-lots are favourites of Australian competitors and home brewers alike.
