C.G.L.E Pacamara Anaerobic – Cali’s Cliffs Auction Lot
39.99 EUR
A rare anaerobic micro-lot from Café Granja La Esperanza’s auction Colombia’s Summits limited supply. This lot was won by Silverskin Coffee Roasters after a competitive auction on the CGLE (Café Granja La Esperanza) platform showing our commitment to sourcing exceptional, hard-to-access micro-lots. The name (Cali’s Cliffs) reflects the dramatic topography of Valle del Cauca where La Esperanza’s farms are nestled. Fermented at Las Margaritas in anaerobic conditions, the cherries hung in sealed tanks for several days, unlocking surprising complexity. After fermentation, the beans were dried carefully to preserve that fruit character and sweetness. Cupping Notes Lemongrass, rum and raisins, blueberry, hibiscus flower, mandarin Varietal: Pacamara Process: Natural Anaerobic We paid $2088.97 for just 33.10 pounds of Callie’s Cliffs, a rare Pacamara anaerobic micro lot from Café Granja La Esperanza. That works out at roughly 225 euro per kilo green before shipping, roasting, or labour. Once roasted, the lot yields about 27–29 kilos, bringing our effective cost to roughly 270 euro per kilo. To make this exceptional coffee accessible while reflecting its rarity, we’ve priced it at 59.99 for 100 grams, with 250 g at 129.99. This is a one-off auction lot small, exclusive, and crafted for you to experience its unique fruit, floral, and boozy notes. With a reputation for producing competition winning coffees, processes are matched with varieties to produce unique flavour profiles. Five farms now make up the Café Granja La Esperanza: Cerro Azul, Las Margaritas, La Esperanza, Potosi and Hawaii. We are delighted to offer these rare and exclusive nano lots from the best producer in the business. Cafe Granja La Esperanza is a producer we have worked with since day one here at SLVRSKIN. These coffees are from CGLE’s competition selection, and showcase the absolute pinnacle of coffee quality, standards and processing. There are hybrid varietals exclusive to their respective farms, and also processing methods devised and perfected by CGLE. Multi award, multi competition winning CGLE is recognised worldwide as the best there is.
