Began in 2014 as a weekly stall at Wood Street Indoor Market in Walthamstow, run by Clare and Gareth Reid. The roastery started in 2018 when Gareth teamed up with a roaster from Modern Standard, Caravan and Grind. The Walthamstow cafe was handed to Blackhorse Workshop in 2022; roasting now runs from Saffron Walden, with a named-producer page for nearly every lot.
