Methodology
How this figure is measured
Price divided by bag weight, per kilogram, converted to euros at ECB reference rates as of 2026-07-24. We report the median rather than the average, and we do not trim the expensive end — competition lots are real prices. Multi-bag packs, subscriptions, gift boxes, drip sachets, pods and wholesale sacks are excluded, because their price and their stated bag weight describe different quantities.
Portugal is published because it clears both floors: at least 30 bags from at least 8 different roasters. "Country" means where the roaster is based, not where the coffee grew — for that, see the origin breakdown.
