Ethiopia Limu Grade 2
22 NZD
About Coffee REGION: Jimma Zone, Gera District ALTITUDE: 1,400-2,100 MASL VARIETAL: HEIRLOOM Process : Fully washed and sun dried Tasting Note Warm aromas of roasted nuts and caramel blend with the crispness of red apple skin. The cup reveals layers of biscuit and cocoa, with delicate floral traces of lemon blossom. A juicy, peach-like acidity lifts the profile, ending with a long, sweet aftertaste of nuts. Story Limu, located in Ethiopia’s Djimma zone, shares the floral and citric qualities of Yirgacheffe and Sidamo but is distinguished by a fuller body. Grown under natural shade in semi-forest systems, Limu coffee benefits from abundant water and careful handpicking, with processing at local washing stations that preserves its unique flavor profile.
