Karambi is produced at the Karambi Washing Station, managed by four full-time employees. The coffee cherries are grown by around 1,500 smallholder farmers surrounding the washing station comprising of the Red Bourbon varietal. The cherries are processed in a classic fully washed style which emphasizes the citrus-y acidity in the cup. As a filter, notes of spiced cookies and green grapes are prominent with a mellow citrus acidity, making for the perfect every-day drink. As an espresso, it makes for a bright and refreshing drink, with the citrus and green grapes being the most prominent tasting notes in the cup.
