GOMBE - UGANDA
220 ZAR
CHERRY | BLACK TEA | RAISINS Another lovely Uganda from The Coffee Yard. Bright cherry, gentle black tea, and a soft raisin sweetness. Smooth, balanced, and easy to enjoy. Gombe, the village this microlot is named after, sits on Mount Elgon in the Sironko District. Farmers from the village deliver freshly harvested cherries to The Coffee Yard, a partner of the highly acclaimed Coffee Gardens that’s currently being run by Norman Mukuru. Cherries for this lot were pulped, dry-fermented for 40hrs, thoroughly washed in cold mountain water, and then dried on African drying beds.
