Founder Glenn started home-roasting on a popcorn maker after a trip to his wife's family village in East Java, then took SCAE qualifications and sold on eBay before setting up in Essex. Named after their daughter Lalita. Roasts by hand on 1kg and 6kg machines, with a strong Indonesian slant alongside beans from elsewhere.
