Kamagogo Coffee Factory was established in 1970s and is currently part of the Kiru Farmers Cooperative Society, with a membership of around 1,000 smallholder farmers. After delivery, cherry is hand sorted, depulped, fermented overnight, and laid out on raised beds to dry where it is hand sorted for defects again. Kamagogo assists local farmers with pre-financing and access to inputs and seminars on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). The washing station also features demonstration plots to help train local farmers on best practices for growing coffee. Notes: Tomato, grapefruit, cola 10oz Our coffee bags are 100% compostable.
