Spread across 320 hectares and receiving nearly 100 inches of rainfall each year, the estate is encircled by three hills and nourished by a network of natural springs. Its landscape is alive with wildlife, with herds of Indian gaur and spotted deer frequently roaming the property. The farm cultivates a wide array of coffee varieties, including arabica selections such as Sln 9, Sln 795, HDT × Catuai, Chandragiri, and Catimor; canephora varieties like Peradeniya, C × R, and Sln 274; as well as liberica. At the heart of its wet mill stands a century-old 12-foot water wheel that continues to generate clean hydroelectric power for coffee pulping. Karadykan also invests deeply in the well-being of its community. An on-site 20-bed hospital and a day-care crèche support the 75 families who live and work on the farm, reinforcing its role as both an agricultural estate and a thriving habitat for people, wildlife, and coffee. • Direct Trade • Quality Focused Black Best Brewed With EspressoFrench PressChemexV60 Pourover Espresso 17g Coffee Dose 36g of espresso 1:2.1 ratio of Coffee to espresso. 94°C Temperature 28 secs Brew time View Detailed guide French Press 25g Coffee Dose 325ml of water 1:13 ratio of Coffee to water. 96°C Temperature 4:30 min Brew time View Detailed guide Chemex 25g Coffee Dose 400g of water 1:16 ratio of Coffee to water. 93°C Temperature 4 min Brew time View Detailed guide V60 Pourover 15g Coffee Dose 225ml of water 1:15 ratio of Coffee to water. 92°C Temperature 2:40 min Brew time View Detailed guide
