Tiong Hoe started in 1959 as a traditional kopi supplier on Tiong Bahru Road and is one of the rare Singapore roasters that successfully crossed from the kopitiam era into modern third-wave specialty. Third-generation operator Ernest Ting now runs both the legacy Stirling Road shop and a sleek Telok Kurau roastery-café where the team roasts on a Giesen and pulls a seasonal Sunrise Sapphire espresso blend alongside Ethiopian, Kenyan and Colombian single origins.
