AT A GLANCE This coffee has a beautiful deep body with just the right amount of acidity. Excellent for filter and pressurized brew methods. THE STORY This lot is composed of smallholders from Isnos, Pitalito, Acevedo, Iquira, Palermo, La Plata, Oporapa and La Argentina- smaller towns within Huila. The average farm size is 2 hectares. The quality of 2025/2026 crop is phenomenal this year, personally the best we have seen in years, clean uniform beans that are a pleasure to roast. What we look for in a Colombian Coffee Sweet and tangy. Think ripe red plums, apples and berries. The sweetness from these fruits are always followed by a tangy acidity. A deep body with a chocolatey finish. We love Colombian coffees that have strong chocolate notes, it can either be cocoa, cacoa or chocolate. The main thing is it must have a deep rich body, one that coats the mouth and feels heavy on the palate.
