Madcap Coffee Company was founded in 2008 by Trevor Corlett and Ryan Knapp in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The flagship roastery on Monroe Center Street operates a Loring Smart Roast and supplies seven Madcap cafés across Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Lansing. The company is known for ultra-clean, lightly developed single origins and the long-running Third Coast espresso blend. Madcap is a multiple-time Roast Magazine Macro Roaster of the Year nominee and is widely regarded as the Midwest's flagship third-wave operation.
