Nylon Coffee Roasters was founded in 2012 by Lee Dongnyung and Jia Min in a 30-square-metre shophouse on Everton Park, and remains one of the most internationally awarded specialty roasters in Southeast Asia. The team travels to origin annually and works direct-trade with producers in Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya and Honduras, with single origins rotating roughly fortnightly. Nylon has placed in the World AeroPress Championship and is a fixture in Asia's best café lists year after year. The Everton Park space deliberately stays small — no Wi-Fi, no laptops, just coffee.
