Giles Read bought his first roaster, a 15kg Ambex, in 1999 after several years buying beans and training baristas, including a spell as Pret A Manger's first coffee man. That machine is still in use at Limekiln Farm outside Sherborne. Around 14 coffees: single estate arabicas, espresso blends and natural decafs, plus a range of loose leaf teas.
