Operated by the COOPAC cooperative, the station receives coffee from more than 1,500 smallholder farmers who deliver their harvest by foot, bicycle and even boat. Despite its isolation, Kirorero consistently produces exceptional coffees that showcase the region's rich volcanic soils and ideal growing conditions. Beyond coffee quality, COOPAC is deeply committed to supporting local communities through environmental initiatives, agricultural education, healthcare programs and infrastructure projects that improve farmers' livelihoods."
