Lou Scott learned the trade running a cafe and roastery in New Zealand, then started again in 2011 with a single coffee van outside the BBC in White City. It grew to four vans and two cafes, and the roasting side now supplies pubs, offices and cafes across southern England. She visits the farms she buys from each year.
