Began as an internet cafe run at the Greenbelt Festival at Cheltenham Race Course, serving Fairtrade coffee off a bar each August bank holiday. Watching the documentary Black Gold pushed the founders to trace their sourcing; they went to Ethiopia and Kenya to meet growers, then opened a roastery in Leigh in 2009. All 100% arabica.
