Kenya - Rioki AA | Blackcurrant, Rhubarb & Rooibos Tea | For Filter Brewing
16 EUR
Vibrant, fresh and complex, our new washed Kenyan filter coffee is full of old school summer flavours, reminiscent of hedgerows and home-baked goodness. We got delicious, jammy blackcurrant and fresh rhubarb flavours, balanced alongside a beautiful aroma of rooibos tea. If that sounds good to you, take a peek Our Rioki AA comes to us from the Rioki Estate in Kiambu county, Kenya. Set on a sprawling network of plots amounting to just over 190 hectares that has been tended to as a coffee plantation for nearly 60 years. Planted on volcanic soil and across a gentle expanse of hills, the estate offers the trees ideal growing conditions. The region experiences two rainy seasons each year, so Rioki Estate benefits from two harvests. During these harvest times, cherries are picked by hand and delivered to the wet mill situated on site. From there, the fruit goes through a thorough grading and selection process. Once the best is selected, it will be carefully monitored throughout fermentation, washing and drying, ensuring that only the highest quality of coffee leaves the estate. Thanks to the level of care taken in production and the quality of the produce itself, our Rioki AA is a coffee we are delighted to share with you. Chosen by Roasted Brown and roasted specifically for filter brewing, this carries a harmony of both delicate floral flavours and aromas alongside a more intense, fruit forward and jammy character. If you like a bit of boldness in your filter brews, don't miss out. You're going to see so much of what we love about Kenyan coffee with this one.
